engineering surveying and setting out
This is providing dimensional control on construction sites, from setting up initial surveying control points and level datum's to positioning of the construction works. Typically pile positions, foundations and steelworks, holding down bolts, manhole positions and the many operations, which require precision setting out.
Modern engineering and surveying now calls for more expertise in this area, most architectural and structural engineering practices are fully computerised and require contractors to work from coordinates linked to CAD drawings, for setting out and as built records purposes. We have may years experience of working with contractors on large and small construction sites. We endeavour to put in primary control which will not be disturbed so can be utilised if required on numerous separate visits during the construction process.
Site Engineering is normally undertaken on a daily rate or hourly basis, consumables can be supplied to enable us to be totally self sufficient and ensure no delays due to shortages. Such items are nails, spray paints profile board, pegs, reflective targets, permanent survey stations etc. |
